First Aid/CPR courses for Childcare Staff/Educators

The purpose of this course is to train childcare centre staff first aid for children and infants. Our first aid trainers are qualified instructors with healthcare background including Paramedic & Respiratory (asthma) Nurse Practitioner who also delivers training for the National Asthma Council Australia.

These courses will be held on either Saturdays or Sundays at either the Aldon Tutoring Centre, Albany Creek (next to ALDI), the Strathpine Super Clinic or the Chermside Community Health Centre. The HLTFA301B Apply First Aid (Senior First Aid) course includes HLTCPR201A Perform CPR and consists of a FREE online component and a face to face practical component. The online learning must completed prior to attending the face to face training.

There will be new guidelines in force for both Anaphylaxis and Asthma training from January 2012. We will be registered to deliver this training by mid-January.
